Prof.Dr. Mehmet ÖZEN

I was born in 1982 in Mecitözü, Çorum. I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. In 2010, I earned the title of Internal Medicine Specialist from Hacettepe University, and in 2014, I received the title of Hematology Specialist from Ankara University. In 2016, I became a Dr. Lecturer, and in 2017, I was appointed as an Associate Professor in Internal Medicine (Hematology).

In 2007, I completed intensive care training at the University of Gainesville in Florida, USA, and in 2014, I received flow cytometry training at the University of Salamanca in Spain. I have published over 30 articles in national and international journals and presented more than 100 papers at national and international congresses. My publications have received over 100 citations. I also hold one patent.

Since 2010, I have been focused on the treatment of hematological cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Since that time, I have been involved in stem cell treatments, including allogeneic, autologous, haploidentical, and mesenchymal stem cell therapies, collaborating with teams to apply stem cell treatments to hundreds of patients.

Since 2022, I have been working as a Hematologist and in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at İstinye University Gaziosmanpaşa Medical Park Hospital.
