Prof.Dr. Halil ALIŞ

Prof. Dr. Halil Alış is an internationally recognized expert in general surgery, specializing particularly in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, obesity surgery, and gastrointestinal system (GIS) surgery.

Education and Professional Experience

​

• 1992: Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Karadeniz Technical University.

• 2001: Completed his specialization in General Surgery at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.

• 2010: Received the title of Associate Professor.

• 2016: Appointed as a Professor.

Throughout his career, he has held significant roles in general surgery at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital and private hospitals. Since 2017, he has been working at Istanbul Aydın University Medical Park Florya Hospital.

• Obesity and Metabolic Surgery: Achieving success in weight management and diabetes treatment through bariatric surgery practices.

• Robotic Surgery: Performing minimally invasive surgeries using the Da Vinci Robotic Surgery System.
