Prof.Dr. Hakan UÇAR

I was born in Van in 1977. I am married and a father of two daughters. After completing primary, secondary, and high school in Van, I was accepted to Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine. After graduating in 2003, I began my specialization training in Cardiology at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine following the first Medical Specialty Examination.

After completing a 5-year residency, I became a Cardiology Specialist in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, I worked at Bursa Şevket Yılmaz Education and Research Hospital and then at Bursa State Hospital. Between 2012 and 2015, I worked at Adana Numune Education and Research Hospital. In 2015,

 

I achieved the title of Associate Professor. From 2016 to 2019, I served as the Head of the Cardiology Department at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine. Since 2019, I have been the Head of the Cardiology Department at Istanbul Aydın University VM Medical Park Florya Hospital.

In March 2020, I was appointed as a Professor in the Cardiology Department at Istanbul Aydın University. I actively participate in numerous national and international cardiology congresses.

 

Between 2020 and 2023, I served as a board member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology Interventional Cardiology Association. Currently, I hold the position of General Secretary of the Interventional Cardiology Association.

I have a good command of English and enjoy reading books as my favorite hobby. I play tennis, swim, play football, and ski when I have time. I also play the bağlama and am learning to play the kabak kemane.
