EUS

EUS
EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) is a type of endoscopy used to examine the digestive system organs in detail. During this procedure, an ultrasound probe is placed at the tip of the endoscope and advanced through the mouth into the stomach. This allows for much clearer visualization of the internal organs. It is especially effective for detailed examination of organs such as the pancreas, bile ducts, liver, stomach, and intestines.
Common Uses of EUS

-
Tumor Diagnosis: Detecting tumors in the stomach, pancreas, or bile ducts.
-
Lymph Nodes: Examining lymph nodes to assess cancer spread.
-
Cyst and Stone Detection: Investigating the presence of cysts or stones in the pancreas and bile ducts.
-
Biopsy: Performing a biopsy under ultrasound guidance for pathological examination.
EUS plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of many gastrointestinal diseases, providing doctors with reliable and detailed images.
